Jump-Jet Infantry | This heavily armored fella can jump short distances with his jetpack, using it to climb cliffs or over walls. Their vulcan gun can do some big-time damage, and a veteran jump jet troop will be capable of engaging aircraft. |
Disc Thrower | These guys will happily play frisbee with any Nod units. Only thing is their explode-on-impact discs will make it so that no one will ever get to play for long. And the bionic enhancements in their arms will further induce a world of pain. |
Medic | The medic will automatically search for your injured units and heal them. Very useful, but takes time. |
Cyborg Infantry | Almost 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide, and armed with a Vulcan Cannon, this is not the guy you want to mess with. Capable of healing himself in Tiberium fields and uncrushable by vehicles, this is truly the ultimate soldier, and is the only commando that can be produced the same as regular units. |
Cyborg Commando | Just when you thought it couldn't get any better. Nod went out and built an improved version of the cyborg infantry, this time with a Pulse Cannon . They've fixed a few bugs from the first one and made it a bit faster. |
Chameleon Spy | This high-tech unit has the ability to cloak himself and become practically invisible except when he runs; he will be partially visible. If you get him into an enemy installment he can steal random plans for units and structures and even sabotage operations. |
Rocket Infantry | This is a very versatile unit. You can use it against vehicles, infantry and even air units. Used in big numbers, these guys can do a lot of damage. In Red Alert, they were great against aircraft, but we'll have to see how they are implemented in Tiberian Sun. |
Light Battle Infantry | The Light Battle Infantry is the minigunner of the future, with a difference. Very versatile, they can move across almost every type of terrain and their Pulse Rifles fire explosive charges that will do light damage to nearly anything. |
Engineer | Making his return from the two previous C&C games, the Engineer is still much the same. He can still take over enemy structures or repair friendly structures, but this time he has another ability. Sending him to the repair hut on either side of a bridge, and he will repair the bridge for you. |
Mutant Hijacker | He is one of the best units that NOD has in its arsenal. The Mutant Hijacker is able to capture any enemy vessel or civilian unit and stays in it until the vehicle is destroyed. |
